The new hires will fill a number of roles including teaching, recruiting, professional development and community relations.
Kaplan says the hires are part of its strategy to attract and retain top-tier candidates.
The hiring of online teachers is part of the company’s broader efforts to bolster its workforce and attract more talented professionals.
“This will provide a highly skilled workforce to support the growth of Kaplan University’s global education mission and our students,” said Kaplan CEO Paul Minsky.
“We look forward to seeing what this exciting career will bring to our company.”
Kaplan has a reputation for attracting top-level graduates from prestigious schools and universities.
Its online schools, including Kaplan International and Kaplan College, are ranked among the top-performing online programs.
Kaplan has seen strong growth over the past few years, thanks to strong enrollment growth and strong retention, which has driven the company to grow revenue by nearly $1 billion over the last five years.
The company has also become an important partner to its parent company, Education Management Corp., which operates Kaplan College.
Kaplan’s investment in Kaplan International has made it one of the top schools in the world.
Kaplan is also known for its high-quality online education, and has the highest-rated student retention rate among private schools.
